Glad you like – early days for this site, but I shall keep adding on occasional topics that catch my eye (or ear). Regarding the rhyme, G. E. Bentley has recently been doing work on Blake’s pronunciation in which he suggests that Blake may indeed have spoken both “eye” and “symmetry” to rhyme with “sigh”. The past is a different country where they probably did speak differently…
Interesting that Thelema’s abrasive cookiemonster-style vocals actually help disguise Blake’s rhyme dissymmetry. Enjoying the site & podcasts.
